YAK Attacking me

I just took a village from a player that is not in an alliance and does not have any NAPS of treaties with anyone else, yet YAK, who we have a NAP with, is now attacking me.

ALright, because I took the village while I was also taking an oasis and caputulting matt5's main village all I could get there in time were some cav units I had planned to refurbish but which have now esentially been fought out. WTF? I killed his troops but we are supposed to have a NAP with YAK and this loss kinda hurts.

That's pretty shitty on his part.

I would say retaliate, but yeah, we have NAP with YAK.

I sent him a message about it.

If worse comes to worse, I will make him pay.

Dealer's Choice is 36 hours away from me.

Yeah, I sent him a message, he said he sent the attack before he signed off and it just so happened that his attack fell on the village after I had taken it. I rushed troops to it in case there was a senator involved, which there wasn't/ It's cool. It wasn't an accident but he won't be attacking me now.

Yeah... That's so funny.

Something to keep in mind in the future.

Make sure the village you're taking isn't under attack by an alliance member.

This game is so quirky like that.

I had a problem similar to this early on.

You can't send resources to a village you have not yet founded, even though your settlers have already left. You have to wait until its built and then you can send resources to it. Kind of stupid, but oh well.

What do you expect from a PHP game? :-)
